ABOUT ERIN FOSTER, Doctoral Candidate, LMFT

Erin earned her BA from Pepperdine University and her Masters from Phillips Graduate Institute, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a specialization in Substance Abuse Disorders. She has completed all educational requirements for a doctorate in education and counseling psychology from Argosy University. Her dissertation focus is the on effects of Cognitive Mindfulness Therapy which integrates the mind and body through awareness and personal growth.
Her therapeutic technique focuses on Humanistic/Existential psychology which emphasizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship through respect and regard for the client. In addition to specializing in substance abuse, Erin also works with anxiety, depression and body image issues using a blend of psychoanalysis and cognitive behavioral interventions.
I understand that facing obstacles in your life can create stress and confusion. Confronting those issues can feel daunting and overwhelming. I strive to create a safe and non judgmental environment for everyone to explore and express their feelings, and find deeper satisfaction and peace in their life.
